As the fifth coin in the Australian Lunar series to feature an antique finish, this 2 oz silver release portrays the 2024 Year of the Dragon design in exceptional detail.
The coin has been individually antiqued to give it a unique finish conveying the surface abrasions of an ancient artifact. As a result of this treatment, the appearance of each coin may vary.
Coin Highlights:
Contains 2 oz of .9999 fine silver.
The coin is housed in a classic display case with a clear lid decorated with a silver geometric design. The case is packaged in a beautifully illustrated shipper portraying the story of how the rabbit became an animal of the zodiac and is accompanied by a numbered certificate of authenticity.
The shippers of future animals in the Lunar Series III will, when arrayed together, form a diorama depicting the ancient myth of The Great Race, which tells how the zodiac came into being.

Obverse: Portrays the Jody Clark Memorial effigy of Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, surrounded by her years of reign: 1952-2022, date, face value, silver weight and purity.
Reverse: Portrays a dragon with water cascading from its mouth, stylized waves and a flaming pearl, a symbol of wisdom. The design’s detailed background also shows representations of a village, a pagoda, a river, a “moon” bridge, traditional Chinese boats, mountains and swirling clouds. The Perth Mint’s “P125” mint mark is also featured, signifying the 125th anniversary of The Perth Mint.
